A farm with deep roots

The von Schilling and Luton families

Two Families, three generations,
one place

After immigrating to Canada, the von Schilling family found themselves finally settling in Merville. The farmhouse and acreage provided for the family and friends.

The Luton family immigrated from England to settle on Salt Spring Island, through marriage and time merging into one farm here in Courtenay.

Experienced in homesteading, cattle, sheep, chickens, floral and more, we are happy to continue the family use of the farm, and look forward to welcoming you as we develop the opportunities it presents.
